Me: ... finally, i'm going home

after about three weeks in houston, i'm finally going home tomorrow. hope that everything will be ok. as usual, i have to report to the secondary officer (us immigration) of my trip home.

when i entered usa last time i was "randomly" selected to go through interview. at that time i was not alone, i met another two indonesian, some chinese, some vietnames, some indians and one european. i thought this was not purely randomly selected but purely selectively random. on the way back from interview and taking my identity (and wrote down the f.i.n# - i think f.i.n is "foreigner identification number").

i will drop my national rent-a-car (next time, i will prefer avis instead and pick up in the hotel rather than in airport) and boarding directly to the domesric continental flight on first class. my flight, from houston (iah) to los angeles (lax) will take 3 hours. in los angeles, i spare three hours, just in case any immigration issues -- paranoid usa -- and fly with singapore airline to singapore and direct to jakarta. estimate will take more than 18 hours in the sky - with additional jet lag.

hope, i will arrive at home by 10 on monday and meet my heroes in the afternoon.
