Me: After 15years at last

[Nirwana]
This month at March 11st, 2006 ... I celebrated the 15 service year anniversary working with ARCO Indonesia (later, merged with BP). I graduated from University of Indonesia on December 22nd, 1990 and at that time I was in hiring process of ARCO Indonesia and in early January 1991, it was confirmed that I would start working for ARCO Indonesia on March 11, 1991. After working about 15years in operation world, this year I have to step back from managerial level in operation to a bit different role. It was sad moment for me to leave my old world.

Last month, the Central Asset of BP West Java Ltd (a subsidiary of BP) held annual team building in Ciater. I was invited as the previous incumbent for Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) there to participate and also a moment to join my team for the last time before I move in different position.

It was so sad to know, I grown up from this department with different roles and different positions. Eventhough, I worked in rota basis (10working days /10 restdays, with one month vacation annually) no more than 5 years, but I will miss the operational environment, like "24hour support - big organization group, friendship etc" that I have used to it.

Finally, after 15years --- I finnally move away from the place that I felt like home to me.

My short CVs:
  • Dec 90 graduated from the University of Indonesia,
  • Mar 91 joined ARCO Indonesia as "trainee" in Engineering Development Program for 1-1/2 years,
  • 93 - 95, Production Supervisor at offshore
  • 96, Gas Sales Network Specialist,
  • 97 - 98, Well Service Superintendent,
  • 99, Chief of Wireline
  • 00 - 05, Operation Manager
  • 06 - Present, Central Coach
