[F1] Go Kimi Go

Another season is coming in, the engines have been started, the lap after lap have been tested. This year is the year of my hero. Kimi will win the champion this year, after one point distant with the champion in 2004 and the worst year in row of the team performance, now it is the time.

The time to be a champion is now, you can beat Alonso ... even Schumi (who is Schumi any way).

Go for it ... Iceman, you can smile now!

Gene: 'Ferrari can win titles with Kimi'

Ferrari test driver Marc Gene is confident that the Scuderia will fight for this year's Championship titles even without Michael Schumacher. Schumacher retired from F1 at the end of the 2006 season after finishing runner-up to Fernando Alonso in the Drivers' Championship title. However, the Spaniard shouldn't expect an easy run to this year's trophy just because Schumacher's out of the way. In fact, Gene believes new Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen has a chance of beating Alonso to the 2007 World title. "Schumacher won so much with Ferrari that some doubt if, with Schumacher gone, Ferrari can continue in the same form," Gene told Diario As.

"As I see it, though, Ferrari is still Ferrari and Raikkonen is a great driver."As for concerns about the pace of the new F2007 in recent testing, Gene claims that the Scuderia's preparations for the upcoming season are more advanced than they were at this same time last year."At this time last year we were not in as strong a position as we are right now, so we believe we will start the year level with the competition," he said.
